Overview

In three years on the board of the Rotary Club of Summit County, I’ve quadrupled our Facebook following and increased our online fundraiser sales many hundred percent. I’ve helped double the haul of the Ice Melt (one of our biggest annual fundraisers.) I brought in tens of thousands of in-kind publicity donations that we use to promote our many great causes. Every quarter, we run a wrap on the local newspaper, including a bilingual fort page sharing the news that our local grants were now being processed in Spanish. This was made possible through a partnership with the local Peak School, which I brokered. Our club had a feature in the international Rotary magazine in January, 2020 (an endeavor that was years in the making) and we were awarded our district’s Publicity award for 2019, beating out 64 other clubs.

This is pure awareness-building, letting folks know of our involvement both in the community and around the world.
